[I Swear]专辑的中文名字是[爱是唯一]，细看之下，原来爱是唯一是英文 I Swear 的中文译音，是有意或是无心就不得而知了。
忆莲自出道以来，在多个公开的场合都唱过不少的英文歌曲，例如她的个人演唱会和一些公开的演出活动，但是出版英文专辑却还是首次，有了以前的经验再加上忆莲已经炉火纯青的演绎技巧，灌录这样的一张英文专辑当然是游刃有余。
[I Swer]专辑所收录的大都是很经典的英文作品，另外再加上几首原创的英文歌。翻唱歌曲中最棒的要属[I Will Always Love You]和[I Swear] ，前者是近年来英文歌坛的一首难得的好歌，可以说是无人不知无人不晓，忆莲重新翻唱丝毫不比原唱者逊色，并加入了自己的技巧，绝对是称得上正点。而后者更是邀请了三位滚石的得力女唱将一起演绎，对比起原来的男声合唱，又别有另一番味道。
[I Swear]一推出就高居唱片销量榜榜首位置，更成为了至今为止，在台湾出版的众多英文专辑中销售量最高的一张，将忆莲的亚洲天后地位再次实力巩固。
专辑的CD包装也有特别版和普通版的区别，在特别版的包装中，专辑的图片比普通版的图片要多，而且是图书式样的CD包装。至于为何到后来会多了一个包装，想必是销售量比预期的要高太多，所以后期的CD已经没有特别版的包装了。
