今天是五月初五，是端午节。端午节是我国的传统节日，起源于春秋战国时期。它主要是为了纪念我古代伟大的诗人——屈原。在端午节，人们通常会进行龙舟比赛吃粽子等活动。
Today is the fifth day of May, the Dragon Boat Festival. Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival in Our country, which originated in the Spring and Autumn Warring States period. It is mainly in memory of my ancient great poet Qu Yuan. At Dragon Boat Festival, people usually take on activities such as dragon boat races and eating zongzi.

The Spring Festival
The Spring Festival,Chinese New Year,is the most important festival for all of us.All family members get together on New Year'Eve to have a big meal.At the same time,everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 o'clock,some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly.We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it is!
On the first early moring of one year,many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door.Some house's windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.
The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days.So during the fifteen days,we always visit our relatives from door to door.At that time,children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents,grandparents,uncles,aunts and so on.The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival.It names the Lantern Festival.
So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.

Spring Festival
My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary or February. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.
People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure. Burning fireworks was once the most typical custom on the Spring Festival. I like spring festival very much. It's my favourite holiday.

我最喜爱的节日是春节，它在一月或者二月。对于中国人来说这是最重要的节日。在那天，每个人都认真打扮，他们会像父母问好，然后每个孩子会得到红包作为新年礼物。
北方人喜欢早上吃饺子或者汤圆。饺子的形状像中国的元宝，他们吃饺子来期盼财源广进。燃放烟花也曾一度是春节的传统习俗。我非常喜欢春节，它是我最喜欢的节日。
