sleep:
physical

our
bodies
and

important

for
us
to

healthy.

night
we
alternate
between
two
kinds
of
sleep:
active
sleep
and
passive
sleep.
The
passive
sleep
gives
our
body
the
rest
that＇s
needed
and
prepares
us
for
active
sleep,
in
which
dreaming
occurs.
Throughout
the
night,
people
alternate
between
passive
and
active
sleep.
The
brain
rests,
then
it
becomes
active,
then
dreaming
occurs.
The
cycle
is
repeated:
the
brain
rests,
then
it
becomes

dreaming

This
cycle
is
repeated
several
times
throughout
the
night.
During
eight
hours
of
sleep,
people
dream
for
a
total
of
one
and
half
hours
on
the
average.

睡眠好像有两个目的：身体休息和情绪或心理休息。我们需要让躯体和大脑都得到休息。为了保持健康，二者都很重要。每天夜里，我们交替在两种睡眠之间：积极睡眠和消极睡眠。消极睡眠使我们的身体得到所需的休息，同时为积极睡眠做准备。在积极睡眠中，梦就出现了。
整个晚上，人们在消极睡眠和积极睡眠间变换。大脑得以休息，随后活跃起来，接着梦便开始。如此循环：大脑休息好了，活跃起来，梦又开始了。这样的循环整个晚上要反复好几次。八小时的睡眠中，人们平均要做上整整一个半小时的梦。
My school is very beautiful. It is in Guicheng, near the Qiandeng Lake. Do you know it? It is Nanhai Experimental Primary School. I like my school very much.
There is a big playground in my school. We have P.E. class on the playground and we often play sports on it , too. Our teaching building has five floors. My classroom is on the fifth floor. It is big and clean. The computer rooms are on the third floor. There is a library on the second floor. There are many books in the library. I often read books here. There are some music rooms and art rooms in the teaching building, too. The teachers in my school are very kind . The students are very polite and smart. I am happy in my school.

It goes without any question that career plays a key role in our life. In the very first place, career can give us an aim to live on. Without career, much of our living time will be certainly wasted. What’s more, career can provide us with a means to live on. Most of the people earn their income from a job. On the other hand, family is also an indispensable part of life, as many people will admit. Family is always regarded as a place where we can escape from troubles in life. In addition, we can obtain a sense of belonging to from family. Without it, anyone will feel lonely and desperate.
毫无疑问，事业在我们的生活中扮演着关键的角色。首先，事业能够给我们生活的目标。没有事业，我们大部分的生活时间就会浪费。而且，事业能够给我们提供生活的手段。大部分的人从工作中赚取收入。另一方面，家庭也是生活不可或缺的一部分，很多人都承认这一点。家总是被看作是我们可以逃避生活中的困难的地方。另外，我们可以从家庭中获得归属感。没有家庭，任何人都会觉得孤独和沮丧。
In my opinion, career and family are not in opposition to each other. Rather, they can enhance each other so that one’s life can become better and better. Therefore, it’s not a choice between right and wrong, but one between ideal and practical.
在我看来，事业和家庭不是互相对立的。相反，他们可以相互提高，这样人们的生活就会变得越来越好。因此，这不是一个对与错的选择，而是理想和现实之间的选择。
Career or Family: which is more important?
When asked about their opinion of career and family, people always respond differently. Some people deem it more important to pursue their career, while there are always other people who argue that family should be the number one in one’s life.

career or family?
i used to be radical and thought one could not be a success in career and, at the same time, have a happy family life. sometimes i even subscounscinusly refused such things as love and marriage.
now i think man engages in a career in the hope of having a happy life, except for these 'extremely intelligent', who would choose career to the exclusion of family. in fact, their lives are not complete ones they have defects. most people, including many great men, scientists and merchants, have experienced much the same experiences (of course, with the details varying). they are from birth to carefree childhood to troublesome adolescence, to dating, to work, to love, to marriage, to success in career, then to old age.
read while you read. love while you love. whatever you do, do it whole-heartedly. even if one day i become a housewifp, that is nothing to be afraid of. what is important is that, in my heart, i have a deep love for life. i will keep in high spirits. i love. i marry. but i still dream my own dream. i will follow the law of nature and pursuit what is beautiful in life. i will hring myself into full play. only by so doing, i will not regret anything in life. do you think so?
My life is very simple. On usual, my mother will wake me up at seven o’clock in the morning. And then I start grooming. After that I walk to school for breakfast and then have class. I have maths, Chinese, drawing and singing classes. How busy I am. Half past four in the afternoon is my free time. But when I get home. I have to finish my homework and wash myself before dinner.
