The Beijing Olympic Opening ceremony was held at 8:00 on 8th,August in 2008 in the National Stadium , also known as the Bird's Nest.The Olympic Opening Ceremony was an international event and the whole world was watching.The city of Beijing was overwhelmed with a festival atmosphere and the whole country of China was celebrating this exciting moment.
After a wonderful performance,the athletes from different countries entered the stadium in specific order.In the end,the Olympic torch was lit up by Li ning, China's most famous veteran athlete,which brightened the whole world. I was so moved when all the Chinese cheered and applauded at that royal moment
One World One Dream .During the Olympics,the friendship among all kinds of countries is strengthened and mutual understanding is deepened.I believe our country will be stronger and stronger.Let us hope the Olympics success and pray our country will win more gold medals
2008 Beijing Olympic Games will be full of wisdom and green.
I think hosting the Olympic games 2008 will have a positive effect on the Chinese economy.
First, there will be millions of foreigners come to China to see the Olympic Games, these foreginers will consume during their staying in China, for example, they eat foods in restaurants, live in hotels, they are like those travellers who visits China.
Second, the Olympic games creates more job opportunities for local workers. Olympic games ususlly requires a standard of the gymnasiums for the sport games, so there will be more building needed.
Third, the past data show most countries' economies improved after hosting an Olypmic games.
