静夜思创作背景：
《静夜思》是唐代诗人李白所作的一首五言古诗。此诗描写了秋日夜晚，诗人于屋内抬头望月的所感。诗中运用比喻、衬托等手法，表达客居思乡之情，语言清新朴素而韵味含蓄无穷，历来广为传诵。
李白的《静夜思》创作于唐玄宗开元十四年（726年）九月十五日的扬州旅舍，时李白26岁。同时同地所作的还有一首《秋夕旅怀》。在一个月明星稀的夜晚，诗人抬望天空一轮皓月，思乡之情油然而生，写下了这首传诵千古、中外皆知的名诗《静夜思》。

静夜思
解析：平淡的语言娓娓道来，如清水芙蓉，不带半点修饰，完全是信手拈来，没有任何矫揉造作之痕，正是平平淡淡才是真。本诗从“疑”到“举头”，从“举头”到“低头”，形象地表现了诗人的心理活动过程，一幅鲜明的月夜思乡图呈现在我们面前。客居他乡的游子，面对如霜的秋月怎能不想念故乡，不想念亲人呢？如此一个千人吟、万人唱的主题却在这首小诗中表现的淋漓尽致，以致千年以来脍炙人口，流传不衰。
我们首先来看许渊冲先生的译文：
Thoughts on a Tranquil Night
Before my bed a pool of light—
O can it be hoar-frost on the ground?
Looking up, I find the moon bright;
Bowing, in homesickness I’m drowned.
Notes: Seeing a pool of moonlight, the poet is drowned in the pond of homesickness.

在小编看来，许渊冲先生的译文更准确的表达出了游子的思乡之情，用了homesickness。
再来看一下赵甄陶先生的：
Quiet Night Thoughts
Moonlight before my bed,
Could it be frost instead?
Head up, I watch the moon;
Head down, I think of home.
他的译文与汉语诗字数最接近，因为用了head up和head down也保存了原诗的修辞和韵律效果，但是在小编看来显得很机械，不灵活。
外国对中国诗词爱好者也有翻译过的，其中我们来看一下Witter Bynner的译文：

So bright a gleam on the foot of my bed—
Could there have been a frost already?
Lifting myself to look, I found that it was moonlight.

这个版本的译文，朱炳荪先生称赞“英译颇有独到之处，深刻地表达了原作中日夜思乡的惆怅之感，而在层次安排文字运用上更是加深了异乡孤儿对月哀愁之情。”但是小编也有不用见解。其中这个home还是没有更表达出思乡之情；对”床前”译为“on the foot of my bed“，不是很准确。在小编看来，这几个版本中，觉得许渊冲先生的最为贴切。
