1. My Pretty Rose Tree
by William Blake
A flower was offered to me;
Such a flower as May never bore.
But I said I've a Pretty Rose-tree.
And I passed the sweet flower o'er.
Then I went to my Pretty Rose-tree:
To tend her by day and by night.
But my Rose turned away with jealousy:
And her thorns were my only delight.
2. When the Rose is Faded
by Walter de la Mare
When the rose is faded,
Memory may still dwell on
Her beauty shadowed,
And the sweet smell gone.
That vanishing loveliness,
That burdening breath,
No bond of life hath then,
Nor grief of death.
'Tis the immortal thought
Whose passion still
Makes the changing
The unchangeable.
Oh, thus thy beauty,
Loveliest on earth to me,
Dark with no sorrow, shines
And burns, with thee.
3. A Little Budding Rose
by Emily Bronte
It was a little budding rose,
Round like a fairy globe,
And shyly did its leaves unclose
Hid in their mossy robe,
But sweet was the slight and spicy smell
It breathed from its heart invisible.
The rose is blasted, withered, blighted,
Its root has felt a worm,
And like a heart beloved and slighted,
Failed, faded, shrunk its form.
Bud of beauty, bonnie flower,
I stole thee from thy natal bower.
I was the worm that withered thee,
Thy tears of dew all fell for me;
Leaf and stalk and rose are gone,
Exile earth they died upon.
Yes, that last breath of balmy scent
With alien breezes sadly blent!
4. The Grave and The Rose
by Victor Hugo
The Grave said to the Rose,
"What of the dews of dawn,
Love's flower, what end is theirs?"
"And what of spirits flown,
The souls whereon doth close
The tomb's mouth unawares?"
The Rose said to the Grave.
The Rose said, "In the shade
From the dawn's tears is made
A perfume faint and strange,
Amber and honey sweet."
"And all the spirits fleet
Do suffer a sky-change,
More strangely than the dew,
To God's own angels new,"
The Grave said to the Rose.
The Rose She's made it through the summer rain,her scent being embeded in my mind.She's faded away in the freezing days,her splendid red lingering on.I'll remember the dew shing brightly;I'll cherish a dream to appreciate her smile once again;She could alleviate my stress,pulling me through the desparate circumstances with no words.She informs me of the truth that I not succumb to the fears inside cause I have faith and an inner peace.She' now in my pot,representing a revived life.
A Red Red Rose
O my luve is like a red, red rose,
That´s newly sprung in June;
在六月里苞放;
O my luve is like the melodie,
That´s sweetly played in tune.
As fair thou art, my bonie lass,
你那么美,漂亮的姑娘;
So deep in luve am I;
我爱你那么深切;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a´ the seas gang dry.
Till a´ the sea gang dry, my dear,
And the rock melt wi´ the sun;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o´ life shall run.
And fare thee weel, my only luve,
And fare thee weel a while;
再见吧,小别片刻;
And I will come again, my luve,
Tho´s it were ten thousand mile!
The Last Rose of Summer
'Tis the last rose of summer,
Left blooming alone.
All her lovely companions
Are faded and gone.
No flow'r of her kindred,
No rosebud is nigh,
To reflect back her blushes
Or give sigh for sigh.
I'll not leave thee thou lone one
To pine on the stem,
Since the lovely are sleeping
Go sleep thou with them;
Thus kindly I scatter
Thy leaves o'er the bed,
Where thy mates of the garden
Lie scentless and dead.
So soon may I follow
When friendships decay,
And from loves' shining circle
The gems drop away!
When true hearts lie withered
And fond ones are flown
Oh! Who would inhabit
This bleak world alone?
独自开放着;
都已飘然消逝;
Rose
When a cloud flew from the far beyond
It would pour down my rose
At the dusk lake bank
Dim lights
Existing my lovely rose
A soft walk,a deep breath
Along with my sleeping rose
A long warm kiss
What I could swallow
My rose
a red,red rose

六月初开韵晓风;
直到四海海水枯;
